Toronto-based Platinum Unlimited has signed on to be the Canadian distributor and installation centre for Superfit.
“We have experienced great success working with Superfit over the years,” said Chris Knight, president of Platinum Unlimited. “It is a pleasure to align [our company] with Superfit and to offer what I consider to be the only custom-fit option for my customers.”
The patented Superfit hinge mechanism allows rings to open, close, and sit upright and securely at the base of the finger, regardless of knuckle size or shape.
Opening June 1, Superfit Canada will be exclusively operated by Platinum Unlimited. The centre will be staffed by trained technicians available to perform installations of the hinge mechanism, as well as provide maintenance and warranty services.
“For more than 20 years, Superfit has seen prolific growth throughout Canada,” said Superfit vice-president, Eric Alulis. “Reaching critical mass, an official physical presence will allow us to more efficiently service this robust market by easing the logistical issues presented by the international border.”              Â
Operating since 1990, Platinum Unlimited offers Canadian-designed and custom-manufactured platinum and 18-karat gold jewellery. It is run by Knight, operations manager and partner Richard Lowe, head designer and partner Rachel Tucker, and managing consultant and partner, Larry Hall.
Representatives from Superfit Canada will be available at the Superfit booth at JCK Las Vegas.
