Watch company Rado won a Red Dot Award for its True Chronograph Matt.
Rado’s True Chronograph Matt received a Red Dot Award, bringing the company’s win count to five since 1990.

The all-ceramic watch has a unique coating that absorbs light, creating a deep grey-brown tone with a matte platinum appearance. The timepiece features a ceramic crown and pushpieces, a convex sapphire crystal, and composite back screwed down with eight titanium screws. The grey dial features a galvanic white coating and the piece has grey-tipped white hands. The bracelet is matte platinum-coloured with titanium triple-folding clasp.

The coveted Red Dot Design Award honours outstanding design quality and trendsetters. Judging is done by an international jury of renowned design experts, who base their decisions according to degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, ecological compatibility, and clarity of function.

More than 3230 watches were submitted from companies in 49 countries.
