Reed announces JCK Tucson

SB_bigstock-Arizona-Desert- — JCK Tucson will be held Feb. 3 to 8, 2014.

JCK Events is setting up shop in Tucson.

The Gem & Lapidary Dealers Association (GLDA) Tucson show will now be known as JCK Tucson, a move its owner—Reed Exhibitions—says is designed to create new buying, networking, and learning opportunities for visitors to the annual gem shows.

The new show will be held at JW Marriot Starr Pass Resort, GLDA’s previous venue, from Feb. 3 to 8, 2014.

“JCK Tucson will cover the finished fine jewellery segment, and feature luxury and design exhibitors that will provide a new opportunity for exhibitors within the built-in audience already visiting Tucson,” said JCK’s Yancy Weinrich.

“The JW Marriott Starr Pass provides an opulent setting and environment for both exhibiting and networking beyond the show floor, with the outdoor patios, mountainous backdrop, golf course, and spa. It is the place to stay while in Tucson.”

The GLDA show is a staple in Tucson, offering wholesale gem and jewellery.

“JCK coming to Tucson will bring new exhibitors and buyers,” said GLDA president Arnold Duke. “This is a win-win, not only for the jewellery industry, but the city of Tucson.”
