The Canadian trade show season is upon us and things are gearing up for JCK Toronto, its organizer says.
Held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre’s North Building, the show is building on a revamped program implemented last year, notes Reed Exhibitions, offering buyers a venue that supports the unique Canadian marketplace.
“One of the most compelling reasons to attend JCK Toronto is its continuous focus on the Canadian fine jewellery marketplace,” said John Tierney, event director. “With over 150 manufacturers and suppliers, we are looking to repeat the success of last year’s event.” In addition to educational sessions on the exhibition floor, more networking opportunities, and special events, the Design Centre is back once more, allowing a selection of designer-owned companies to showcase their wares in a warm, inviting environment.
“JCK Toronto offers an effective buying experience for our members and we are proud to be the supporting association,” said David Ritter, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA). “The JCK Toronto event continues to make improvements with the Canadian market in mind, and we look forward to experiencing the best ‘gold standard’ aspects of JCK in Toronto this August.”
Some of the companies that have already signed on include, Corona Jewellery, Basal Diamond, Chamilia, TD Retail Card Services, Butterfly Gem, Color Jewels, Inc., Moda Anto, Gold Silk, and United Color Gems, Inc.
Jewellery Business is a media partner for JCK Toronto, which is being held Aug. 7 to 9.
