Watch company Seiko has opened the doors to its first boutique in the United States.
Located at 510 Madison Ave. in New York City, the store is primarily dedicated to the brand’s collections, including Astron and Grand Seiko. Seiko is also unveiling collections never before sold in the United States, including Galante and Credor. The boutique itself will carry exclusive product, such as Prospex collections.
“The opening of the U.S. market’s first boutique in New York City is achieving a passionate goal of mine,” says Shinji Hattori, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Seiko Watch Corp.
“Seiko has been seeking the most ideal timing and location to spotlight our product, catering to our affordable luxury timepieces, including Grand Seiko and Astron. Opening a boutique in a market such as New York City does just that, following standards from Seiko boutiques in Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and Cairo, as well as the Wako luxury specialty store in Tokyo.”
