Seiko signs on Novak Djokovic

Tennis start Novak Djokovic has been tapped as Seiko’s new brand ambassador.

“We are delighted that Novak selected Seiko and we are honoured and proud to be his partner for the next three years,” the watch company said in a press release.

“We admire Novak as a player, of course, but we also admire him as a person who has a rich range of interests and a very varied lifestyle.”

Seiko has designed a series of watches for Djokovic to reflect different aspects of his life—one from the Sportura chronograph collection for training; a Prospex Kinetic GMT Diver’s watch when he is enjoying his passion for adventure sports; and the Astron GPS Solar watch when he is travelling.

A new ad campaign will show Djokovic playing tennis, relaxing in a tennis lounge, on the way home after practice, travelling, and going out for a spin.
