Regular Jewellery Business contributor and sales consultant Brad Huisken is bringing his ‘Train the Trainer’ course to Toronto.
Held from May 15 to 17, the seminar is designed to help provide sales managers and trainers with the leadership and knowledge to recruit, hire, and coach a successful staff.
Leading a sales team is the toughest job in a store, says Huisken, president of Colorado-based IAS Training.
“I hear from retail store owners, ‘I have trained my staff and they just aren’t doing it,'” he says. “This is specifically why I developed this course—to give the sales manager/trainer the tools, knowledge, experience, and confidence to go back to their store and really make a difference in producing positive results on the sales floor”¦ This course will allow retail store owners, managers, and sales trainers to give their staff the help they need to maximize the productivity of individual salespeople, along with maximizing the sales and profits of the store.”
The course is being held at the offices of the Canadian Jewellers Association (CJA) at 27 Queen St. E., Suite 600, in the heart of Toronto’s jewellery district. Regular price is $795 per person, while CJA members pay $595 per person.
