Solidscape has appointed veteran sales executive Paul Maloney as its vice-president of sales and service.
“Paul brings to Solidscape over 12 years of global sales and channel management experience in the 3-D software industry,” said company president, Fabio Esposito. “He understands our customers’ needs and has proven his passion for meeting those needs. Additionally, Paul has the leadership skills to take our partners’ and customers’ business to the next level.”
Maloney will oversee global field operations driving revenue, as well as contributing to business strategy and marketing.
“I’m incredibly excited to be joining Solidscape as it continues to roll out the next generation of high-precision 3-D printers and materials,” Maloney said. “It’s a great global team and my experience bringing new products to market will further accelerate Solidscape’s rapid growth in new verticals like dental and education.”
Maloney previously worked at SolidWorks Corp., a division of Dassault Systèmes offering 3-D software tools.
