Stuller celebrates 40 years in business

Louisiana-based Stuller, Inc., turns 40 this year and credits its success to loyal clientele.
It’s been 40 years since Matthew Stuller packed up his Winnebago and started up the jewellery company that would bear his name.
 

The Louisiana-based company and DTC sightholder is celebrating a milestone anniversary and paying tribute to its customers for making it possible.

“Without our customers, we wouldn’t be here today,” says Stuller, the company’s chief executive officer (CEO) and president. “And everything we do is designed to make them heroes to their customers.”

He attributes part of the company’s success to innovations like just-in-time delivery, which helps alleviate the need for retailers to carry large amounts of inventory. Launched last year, its CounterSketch Studio custom design program also creates a virtual inventory, allowing consumers to create their own jewellery from a starting point of designs and materials.

“At its core, our business is all about good customer service,” Stuller says. “The jewellery industry is an emotions business. If our customers aren’t happy, we aren’t either.”
