Stuller, Inc.’s 1200 employees now have access to primary care physicians and other medical resources at the company’s headquarters, thanks to a new telemedicine clinic operated by the Lafayette General Medical Center (LGMC).
The facility comprises two-way audio and HD video conferencing, as well as virtual tools like a Bluetooth stethoscope and digital otoscope. LGMC is providing a clinical staff member to help with exams and serve as liaison between the patient and physician. The community non-profit, FiberCorps, facilitated the project’s technical and operational setup.
The collaboration is part of Stuller’s new wellness initiative, which also includes increased health education, the hiring of a wellness-focused intern, and a variety of exercise programs.
“[This company] is its people, and I want to make sure our associates have the best possible opportunity for wellness,” said company founder, Matt Stuller. “This clinic and our new wellness initiative create a positive work environment promoting personal well-being and growth.”

“Our mission is to restore, maintain, and improve health,” said LGMC president and chief executive officer (CEO), David L. Callecod. “Partnering with Stuller, one of the biggest employers in the area, provides us with an opportunity to do just that.”
