Stuller, Gemvision release new CounterSketch

stuller-mainStuller and Gemvision have released three new versions of CounterSketch, their CAD software.

First introduced in 2009, CounterSketch includes features allowing a jeweller to interact with customers to design a piece of jewellery in real time. Further, the software gives jewellers more options, such as focused collections and a new introductory price.

The three versions are:

  • CounterSketch Bridal, which allows customers to choose from over 300 starting point styles, including customization of accent stones, prongs, and shanks;
  • CounterSketch Plus, which offers the same design capabilities as CounterSketch Bridal, along with an extended library of more than 1100 customizable jewellery styles that include bridal, fashion rings, and pendants; and
  • CounterSketch Studio, which incorporates the power of Freehand alongside the full library of more than 1100 starting point models. Using the expanded design capabilities of Freehand, jewellers can add creative touches to designs or create new jewellery from a library of components.

“Customization is no longer the exception, but the norm,” says Stuller founder and chair, Matt Stuller. “With three versions of CounterSketch from which to choose, any jeweller now has an entry point into the level of customization that makes the most sense for their business.”
