Stuller has appointed Gary Davis as its new vice-president of sales.
Davis brings 20-plus years of experience in leadership and problem solving in marketing, business development, sales management, and operations to Stuller. He previously served as vice-president of business development at QSpex Technologies, a prescription eyewear company.
“Gary comes to Stuller with an impressive mix of experience,” says company president, Danny Clark. “We’re excited to see how his experience and fresh perspective contribute to the initiatives we’re currently working on and future opportunities.”
Davis takes over from Robert Cox, who is retiring after 12 years with Stuller. He joined the team in 2004 as vice-president of mountings, bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in retailing and manufacturing.
“We owe a great deal to Bob for his dedication and appreciation for the independent retail jeweller and the jewellery industry,” Clark says. “His insightful advice, industry expertise, and unforgettable personality will certainly be missed.”
Cox says he’s “thankful to Stuller for providing a venue to focus on sales and business strategies.”
“Through initiatives like the Bridge events and Transform Tours, Stuller has allowed the sales team to build business partnerships with customers, and become more than just a supplier of merchandise. It made my 12 years at Stuller meaningful and rewarding.”
