Stuller, WTJ extend distribution deal

SB_low-Scrabble-ImageWorld Trade Jewelers (WTJ) has extended its distribution agreement with Stuller for three licenced brands.

The Louisiana-based company is now the exclusive distributor to the independent market for Scrabble Brand, Hershey’s Kisses, and Sweethearts jewellery.

“World Trade Jewelers is a valuable partner for Stuller in the world of licenced and iconic branded jewellery,” says James Louviere, the company’s director of symbolic and licenced jewellery.

“The way they secured these valuable properties and interpreted them into jewellery is impressive, and the product performance in the marketplace is proof consumers love the brands and love the jewellery.”

According to Stuller, WTJ will maintain the jewellery licences and provide product development, packaging, marketing, and public relations for the brands.

“The debut of Scrabble Brand jewellery and the expansion of the Hershey’s Kisses jewellery lines are examples of how WTJ has successfully translated highly recognizable and legendary consumer brands into jewellery demand,” said Murray Shabot, WTJ’s president and chief executive officer (CEO).

“For years, we’ve handled our own fulfilment, but now, it is massive. The independent channel needed a proven leader to take it over, and Stuller is that perfect partner. We’ll continue to distribute to our national partners, but our strategic alliance with Stuller allows us to focus on product creation and marketing, which is our specialty.”
