Birks in Calgary played host to hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, as he unveiled the new Breitling Chronomat GMT Wayne Gretzky Limited Edition.
The collection comprises only 99 pieces in honour of Gretzky’s world-famous jersey number.
Ten per cent of the proceeds from the sale of the watch will be donated to the Wayne Gretzky Foundation, established to provide less fortunate youths with the opportunity to experience the sport of hockey.
“I’ve been a huge Breitling enthusiast for many years, so it was wonderful to collaborate with them on this limited-edition watch, which will help further my passion and support my goal of bringing the sport of hockey to those less fortunate,” Gretzky said.
The Breitling Chronomat GMT Wayne Gretzky Limited Edition timepiece includes a dual time-zone display, enabling the user to toggle between zones with a simple flick of the crown while maintaining minute/second hand precision.
