The Montreal Grand Prix got off to a glittery start, thanks to Thomas Sabo.
As part of the festivities, the German designer hosted a cocktail lunch celebrating the partnership between the brand and the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
Thomas Sabo chief executive officer (CEO) Bernd Stadlwieser and its brand ambassador, race car driver Nico Rosberg, hosted the event, which brought together pop star Kristina Maria, TV personality/radio host Anne-Marie Withenshaw, and celebrity chef Chuck Hughes. Guests sipped signature cocktails like the ‘Silver Sabo Racing Flash’ and ‘Mercedes Silver Arrow,’ while getting a look at Thomas Sabo’s spring/summer collection.
On race day, Rosberg competed in the Montreal Grand Prix, capturing the number six position. Last year, the 26-year-old won the China Grand Prix, the first win of his career. Earlier this year, he finished second at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Thomas Sabo is the exclusive jewellery partner of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team.
