Toronto police are asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects who targeted a jewellery store near Eglinton Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue, where they smashed glass display cases with hammers and made off with several pieces of jewellery. As they fled, one suspect dropped a replica handgun, which was later recovered by responding officers.
The suspects, all male and dressed in dark clothing, escaped in a grey sedan. The Toronto Police Service Hold-Up Squad has launched an investigation and is working to identify the suspects and their getaway vehicle.
