Three teenage boys have been arrested following a daring jewellery store heist at Toronto’s Fairview Mall—the second such robbery at the same location in just a month. The teens were part of a five-person group that stormed the store, masked and armed with hammers. After smashing their way in, they made off with a significant amount of jewellery before fleeing the scene.
Toronto Police were able to apprehend the three youths shortly after the robbery. The arrested individuals include two suspects, aged 14 and 15, from Toronto, and a third suspect, a 17-year-old from Brantford, Ont. All three face multiple charges, including robbery with an offensive weapon and disguise with intent. Additionally, two of the youths have been charged with failing to comply with prior undertakings.
Police are still searching for two additional suspects involved in the robbery. Anyone with information is urged to contact the relevant authorities.
