Trollbeads dealers give back

[1]More than $12,000 will go to various charities, thanks to glass artisan events held by Trollbeads dealers across Canada.

By making a donation to a designated charity, consumers were able to design a custom bead with the help of a glass artisan as they watched. Specially trained glass artisans were flown in by the Danish company to create the beads.

“We are very proud of our dealers, who put in the effort and were so successful,” said Jeremy Bowman, partner in Trollbeads Canada.

“Well done to Earthworks of Brampton, Ont., who raised the largest single amount of $2000 going to Juvenile Research Diabetes Foundation.”

The following charities also received donations:

• Alberta Red Cross Flood Relief;
• BC Children’s Hospital;
• Woman’s Microfinance Initiative;
• CKNW Orphans’ Fund;
• Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan;
• Juvenile Research Diabetes Foundation;
• Hospice Wellington; and
• Fort St. John Women’s Resource Society.
