A pink diamond ring stole the show at Christie’s New York’s Magnificent Jewels auction—surpassing its estimated value to bring in US$13.3 million (C$18.2 million). The ring, called the Eden Rose, features a 10.20-carat round brilliant, fancy-intense pink, internally flawless type IIa diamond as its centerpiece, complemented by a surrounding ensemble of eight pear brilliant-cut diamonds and two marquise brilliant-cut diamonds.
Christie’s London is set to host a two-part auction featuring an array of items from the personal collection of late British fashion icon Vivienne Westwood. The auction, titled “Vivienne Westwood: The Personal Collection,” comprises over 200 lots of dresses, suits, shoes, and jewellery looks spanning 40 years.
