Toronto police are asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects who targeted a jewellery store near Eglinton Avenue East and Victoria Park Avenue, where they smashed glass display cases with hammers and made off with several pieces of jewellery. As they fled, one suspect dropped a replica handgun, which was later recovered by responding officers.

Toronto man charged in jewellery store robbery

A 31-year-old man has been charged following a robbery at a jewellery store in Toronto’s Queen St. W. and Spadina Ave. area. According to police, the suspect allegedly entered the store and immediately began threatening staff with a knife, demanding they hand him merchandise. Having gathered a large quantity of jewellery, the man fled the scene on foot.

Toronto jeweller charged with fraud

Police have arrested a 67-year-old man who owned two jewellery stores in Toronto, on charges related to fraud and theft. The accused is alleged to have operated Amiza Diamond at 345 Bloor St. E and Inaza Diamond at 543 Danforth Ave., between August 2023 and February 2024.
